Youth@Assembly a Great Success!
Thanks to the work of many volunteers at FCC Duncan and the Regional Youth Council this weekend conference was a significant witness of what it means to be Church and we had great fun as well. Funding Ministry with Children, Youth, Young Adults
Currently, no Disciples Mission Fund or Annual Fund giving underwrites the program ministries offered by CYYA. DMF Funding and Annual Fund giving underwrites the operation of the Regional Church (Disciples Center, staff salaries, benefits, and expenses, the Board and Commission work), but does not provide money for sponsoring the many events, retreats, and experiences of the program ministries of the Regional Church. The Great Sunday School challenge provides some funding for the Regional Youth Council and Youth Ministry needs. Please consider a gift to support CYYA Ministries and Summer Ministry.
Summer Ministry
Currently, each young person attending a summer ministry experience helps pay for the adult volunteers for that week. This fee is based on the number of campers that attend and the number of adults needed. Funds raised for Summer Ministry could lower the cost for everyone that attends a camp in the future no matter where it may be hosted.
Please consider a gift.
Mail your check to Disciples Center: 301 NW 36th Street / Oklahoma City, OK, 73118. Please indicate IAS or Summer Ministry in the memo line. |
