“SHARING OUR FAITH – SHAPING OUR FUTURE”, the Annual Fund theme statement for 2008, confirming our commitment to God’s call, both as individuals and as members of a community of faith.   We are “Oklahoma Disciples in Ministry Together.”   Whether we are growing new churches, training new leaders, sending kids to camp, helping churches find new pastors, nurturing our spirits in fellowship or working together in mission, the Annual Fund helps to make it possible.

Sometimes ministry comes in well planned ways, like mission trips or a great summer camping program.   But sometimes needs, like ice storms or tornados, arise without warning.   Our regional church provides more than ministry programs.   It is an ongoing presence, with communications tools, a bank account through which to receive and distribute contributions, a pastoral and support staff to quickly funnel assistance and support wherever they are needed.   It is a place ready to respond to emergencies and tell us all how we can effectively help.   Our world needs the church to be a dynamic, spirit-filled presence in people’s lives.   As followers of Christ, we need to be prepared to hear God’s call, and equipped to share our faith and shape a faithful future.
