Regional Elders offer spiritual and pastoral support to congregations
Sixteen Regional Elders were commissioned in September, 2007, to provide spiritual guidance, pastoral care and support for each congregation and its pastor in Oklahoma. Under the leadership of Rev. Coy Parlsey, former Senior Associate Regional Pastor, the elders visit regularly with congregations and pastors. The elders also meet regularly with regional pastoral staff so that needs and concerns are able to be addressed quickly and effectively.
Transformation means growing in new and exciting ways
The regional church’s new Congregational Transformation program offers training forpastors and lay leaders, ongoing support, resource materials, practical examples of transformation, worship and devotional aids and much more to congregations seeking to reshape their mission and ministry to meet the emerging challenges of the 21st century.
