(Edmond) Planning, Community, & Laughter: Regional Youth Council Retreat
The Regional Youth Council met last weekend, Aug 15-17, at First Christian Church in Edmond. This annual retreat is a time of orientation, group building, and planning as the RYC picks up the work of the previous council and continues planning for this year and next. RYC thanks the youth at First Christian Church in Edmond for loaning us their space for the retreat.

(OKC) Regional Pastor Search Update
by Rev. Michael Oberlender
On a warm July afternoon your Regional Pastor Search Committee gathered for a five-hour meeting. Among many of the items on the day's agenda were two, online interviews. Yes, you read that correctly, two. The search is now down to two wonderful candidates. Both of these servants of God bring such strong faith, love for God, and a caring heart. There is only so much one can learn from online or phone interviews. That leads to our next step which is to conduct on-sight interviews. Arrangements are being made to bring them both to a face-to-face meeting mid-August. We invite you to continue to keep all in your prayers.
